PVD Coating Specialist

Cutting tools (technical) UNIMERCO GROUP has been working with PVD coatings and ion implantation since 1999. With coating centres in the UK, USA and Denmark we also collaborate with top universities and coating partners such as Platit to develop new, improved coating solutions. We are looking for a PVD coating specialist who will be responsible for the day to day running of our UK PVD coating facility. You will need to be a team player with the ability to cope with both the practical handling of the coating process as well as any technical issues that may arise. UNIMERCO produces hard PVD coatings such as TiN, TiCN, CrN and nanocomposites. It is essential that you have proven practical experience of the PVD coating process and the ability to explain the process to people of all levels of experience. Ideal candidates will have a “hands on” approach with a technical education in hard PVD coatings and knowledge of cutting tools. You must be organised and structured, with a careful approach to tasks. You will receive training from UNIMERCO Ltd and UNIMERCO GROUP in Denmark.
