W.H. Tildesley has recently had the pleasure of working with YouTube legend and experienced blacksmith Alec Steele along with his sidekick and videographer Jamie Popple.
We aimed to not only showcase and explain our drop forging capability but also allow Alec to take part and experience what is involved in the day-to-day role of a forge stamper.
With a subscriber count boasting over 2.4 million, we truly hope we’ve reached the hearts and minds of many all over the world and inspired the next generation to get involved and consider a career in manufacturing.
The video, launched November 16th, 2023, has already seen an impressive 290,000 views, and 15,000 likes with hundreds of extremely positive comments from the community in support of our drop forging company and British manufacturing.
