The new Abbey Manor Business Centre in Yeovil is officially opening in September 2002. Nigel Timmis, managing director of Abbey Manor Group who own the building and Chris Hyde, area director of Bartlett, the company which carried out the new extension building work have officially topped out the building with an ancient 'topping out' ceremony. The new office extension to The Abbey, Preston Road will provide the Yeovil area with the first truly managed modern office space, providing a full range of business support services, conference rooms, in-house catering facilities, Broadband Internet access, IT support and ample on-site parking. The centre is ideal for small-medium sized businesses, new businesses, office expansions or relocating from a large city. The existing Grade 1 listed building is set in historic and delightful surroundings and has been extended to provide approx 25,000 sq ft of office space, with serviced office suites available from 200 - 2,000 sq ft. The business centre, which is ideally positioned on the edge of the town providing the ideal working environment, already accommodates several businesses, and has the capacity for many more.
