Job Description: Pressure Leak Test on Aermec Chiller
Area: Mark Lane, London
Issue Identified: Following a call out the engineer advised that the Aermec Chiller is tripping on LP (low pressure), circuit 2. Engineer found a slight leak on the solenoid valve circuit 2.
Works carried out:
Isolated the Aermec Chiller electrically and mechanically.
Recovered refrigerant into a dedicated recovery cylinder.
Removed and replaced coil.
Pressure tested with OFN (oxygen free nitrogen) to locate leak.
Repaired the leak by means of brazing.
Once proved released Oxygen Free Nitrogen (OFN) into atmosphere and evacuated the system to a minimum of 2 Torr.
Re-charged with the recovered refrigerant and trim charged with virgin refrigerant.
Test ran and re-commissioned.
Completed a waste transfer note and handed to on-site representative.
Completed an F Gas certificate.
