Exhibiting Ourselves

This year AERC did not take up our traditional stand at the CIWM and branched into other areas in the industry. During September we exhibited at the 2005 Offshore Europe Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition in Aberdeen. Four of our staff travelled to the borders and attended the four day event. Taking models of our wetlands and bioreactors environmental technologies we presented environmental solutions for the oil industry. Julia Osborne, our HOCNF expert was also able to promote AERC’s services connected to meeting HOCNF regulations and acquiring favourable CHARM quotients. Having been involved with the model since its inception, Julia is one of the Industries key figures and was in her element at the exhibition. In November we held a stand at The Composting Associations 10th Annual Conference and Exhibition. We focused on promoting HaloTech, an alternative environmental system for treating landfill leachate use wetland technology. The design has been expanded to treat highly organic leachate produced by in-vessel composting. In addition to HaloTech, our staff promoted AERC’s other consultancy and research services which assist the composting industry. The Exhibition was held at the Motorcycle Museum, Solihull, West Midlands on 30th November and 1st December.
