Basketball World Cup Trophies

Ottewill silversmiths chose us to manufacture trophies for the under 19 and under 17 categories of the basketball world cup. Ottewill silversmiths came to us with a design from their customer that we needed to translate into usable CAD data that we would be able to create a model to CNC machine. The intricate detailing on each trophy made the translation challenging but by utilising regular and detailed communication with our customer, we completed the modelling for the design. The CNC machining of this project required a little ingenuity as our 5 axis machine was occupied with another project. This meant the trophies required several different machining setups to achieve the many faces required.
