Archaeological Management Services Ltd
27-02-2013
2013 has been a busy year for Foundations Archaeology so far.
From Cornwall to Wiltshire, The West Midlands to Gloucestershire the work just keeps coming in:
Watching Briefs, Geophysical Surveys, DBA's and an Evaluation are currently on the agenda.
While most other work is currently ongoing, one of our recent sites in Cornwall revealed a Round among elements of a rectilinear field system.
The assessment highlighted that the site is generally of moderate archaeological potential for the recovery of significant finds and features of all periods, except the Iron Age/Romano-British and Medieval periods, where the potential is moderate-high.
However, it is important to note that there has been no previous archaeological investigation in the vicinity, so much of the assumed potential may, therefore, be due more to this lack of investigation, than to an actual absence of activity.
In office news, we welcome James Green to the team. We've relocated our working space to a larger office space which has allowed us to expand. The new address has been updated on our Contacts page while our Registered Address remains the same.
