Prehistoric Oxfordshire

We have recently been working in Oxfordshire on one of our ongoing large excavation sites. We have uncovered a large amount of features of Bronze and Iron Age date. These include ring ditches associated with burials, large pit complexes and many postholes associated with likely settlement. Small finds include bone pins, Iron age and Roman coins as well as late 17th century Royal Mail post bag seals!
