Astell recently supplied a Benchtop autoclave to Delicato Family Vineyards in the USA, one of the fastest growing wine companies in the world, who boast over 90 years of California winemaking and grape growing heritage. The Astell autoclave supplied to Delicato is a 43 litre model with Autofill – a water reservoir with capacity for up to 15 cycles, which also acts as a collection vessel for condensate, and automatically returns water from the chamber at the end of each cycle in an effort to reduce consumption. A Delicato microbiologist comments that the Astell autoclave is “…very easy to use with minimal maintenance required and only takes up a small amount of space.
