Skydive for local Weybridge charity
25-10-2016
We are always keen to support our local charities and good causes at Champion Timber and this is proven by our new Weybridge branch Yard Sales Manager – Kraig Seymour. Back in August, he braved a 100 foot abseil down Portsmouth famous Spinnaker Tower and this month is soared to new heights by jumping out of a perfectly good aeroplane at 10,000 foot. The father of two was, of course, attached to a professional tandem sky diver at the Salisbury GoSkydive centre.
Kraig decided to take on the charity challenges in aid of Surrey-based charity Shooting Star Chase. This leading hospice looks after babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.
Kraig was joined by his partner Leanne and two children, Noah and Willow for moral support (and to make sure he actually jumped!). They all supported Kraig who said he felt more excited than nervous.
The video of Kraig’s skydive can be seen on our Facebook page and proves that he was possibly a little more nervous than excited when sitting at the edge of the plane but thoroughly enjoyed the experience on the way down!
Kraig is hoping to raise at least £1,000 for Shooting Star Chase and is nearly there. You can still support him, and the charity
