Surrey Football Association Partnership with Champion Timber

What a wonderful evening for a kick-about amongst staff members at our partners, the Surrey FA’s, Meadowbank football grounds. Football seems to be the most universal sport that speaks to everyone, so what an honour to play on such nice grounds! Back In October 2017, We Were Delighted To Announce A Partnership With the Surrey Football Association. The partnership is once covering the 2017-18 season, whereby the Champion Timber became the sponsor of the Youth Surrey County Cups. As the Surrey FA’s sponsor for the Youth section of the Surrey County Cup, Champion Timber sponsor 7 of the Surrey FA’s county cups, ranging from U12’s right up to U18’s. This year’s cup’s have a special significance, as they will be the first to be played at our new home, Meadowbank. “It’s fantastic to have Champion Timber on board for our County Cups this season”, said Caroline McRoyall, Chief Executive of Surrey FA. “Their company reaches far and wide across the county, and now their investment will go a long way to ensuring that grassroots football continues to flourish.” Mike Bird, Director of Marketing at Champion Timber expressed his delight to be working in partnership with Surrey’s governing body of football. “As a business based in Surrey we are delighted to be able to support the Youth section of the Surrey County Cup. We are always keen to support the youth of today, as they will be the future for any business.”
