Cranage to open a European Office for CE marking based in Spain.

Cranage is a leading provider of technical services for evaluating product safety and EMC compliance with a long history of working on ISM projects and materials processing machinery installed across Europe. In the interests of promoting international trade free from barriers and red tape, Cranage is developing a European base to assist manufacturers with compliance certification for electrical and electronic equipment in the single market. This initiative is designed to improve the supply chain relationship and further develop our EU Notified Body activity in mainland Europe. Over the next two years, Cranage will build a significant presence in Spain and provide attestation services for the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU supported with enhanced accreditation from Entidad Nacional de Acreditación (ENAC). Cranage remains a committed UKAS accredited testing laboratory and expects appointment of its Notification role for the United Kingdom to be ongoing regardless of impending UK-EU relationship adjustments.
