Cranage Veritas has this month been accredited by INAB (Irish National Accreditation Body) against the quality management requirements of ISO/IEC 17065: 2012 for the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU

Over the past 18 months, we have been working on a project of expanding our subsidiary organisation in Ireland, Cranage Veritas. Today we are thrilled to announce that Cranage Veritas has now been officially accredited by INAB against the quality management requirements of ISO 17065: 2012 for the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. The accreditation comes following an extensive audit process at the Cranage Veritas Limerick office. This is a fantastic achievement for our Veritas team, putting Cranage in a strong position for certification-based activities for products and services. Cranage Veritas can now offer conformity assessment services for manufacturers with in-house testing facilities. We think this is a boost to the Irish manufacturing community who can choose to work with Cranage Veritas, a local Product Certification Body, to help access the European market. In addition, the Irish manufacturing community can also use Cranage Veritas as an independent authority to assess technical files for CE marking purposes. It’s important news for our UK clients as well, as we increase our scope of market access solutions. With the October Brexit deadline looming, and the potential governmental changes to product certification guidelines within the UK and Europe, Cranage EMC and Safety can offer a range of solutions to our manufacturers, whatever the outcome, via our Irish Product Certification Body, Cranage Veritas.
