Dust ingress testing is used to test the ability of a product to protect against filtration from dust. At Cranage EMC and Safety, we have a large walk in dust test chamber with an internal test volume of 18m3, for testing machinery with a maximum footprint of 3m x 2m. Ingress protection testing is used to determine whether a product will perform properly when used in it's intended environment. As well as dust ingress, we have capabilities to test for IPX9.This is the maximum rating available for water ingress. IPX9 is a high pressure and high temperature test system, used for evaluating machinery and equipment used in highly regulated industries. This may include medical, food and beverage, gas and chemical industries. Our IPX9 test area is 50m2, allowing us to evaluate large equipment and machinery.
