Medical devices must be tested for the relevant EMC and product safety standards to ensure they are safe to use. The most common standards, for which we are UKAS accredited, are IEC/EN 60601-1 and IEC/EN 60601-1-2, covering the basic safety and essential performance of medical electrical equipment.
