The service includes camera cleaning, lens adjustment, and inspection of all major components and connections for signs of damage. To minimise disruption, our engineers complete the visit in a single appointment.
Please note: servicing of cameras is limited to a mounting height of 4 m. A scissor lift will be required at additional cost for heights up to 10 m.

Gold is available only for systems installed by an NSI or SSAIB approved company and less than one year old.
CCTV Servicing Checklist
During a maintenance service, our technician will:

Visually inspect all major components and connections for deterioration or damage.

Examine control equipment (DVR, NVR, multiplexers, video switchers, telemetry units, etc.) for correct operation.

Test mains power supplies and standby batteries, including charging rates.
-
Check environmental conditions for adverse effects, e.g., foliage obscuring camera views.
-
Verify and, if needed, update time and date settings.
-
Inspect cabling integrity and sample-check external insulation for damage.
-
Secure and clean cable fixings.
-
Test auxiliary lighting, infrared units and photocells (if present).
-
Confirm air vents are clear on all control equipment, including PCs.
-
Clean cameras, lenses and housings as required.
-
Check glands and seals on external equipment.
-
Clean control equipment surfaces, including PCs (if applicable).
-
Confirm regular backups are being taken.
-
Align each camera to the user’s specification; verify field of view and adjust as needed.

Inspect brackets, towers and fixings for corrosion or damage; check clamping bolts/brackets are tightened correctly.

Test wash/wipe units and wiper blades (if fitted) and refill the washer reservoir where necessary.

Review recording quality in both daytime and night-time modes.
-
Test pan/tilt assemblies (if fitted), including fixings, electrical connections and functions.

Verify satisfactory transmission of images to any remote site (if applicable).

Ensure warning signs are in place.

Check all camera presets.
-
Test all alarm presets (if applicable).
