Global sealing technology specialist Flexitallic is driving for growth in its German operation. The company, which operates out of Hilden, Dusseldorf, is aiming to expand the reach of its portfolio of market-leading industrial gaskets and has plans to recruit significant additional engineering resource. The expansion is driven by investment, which also sees the German arm of the business re-branded from Induseal to Flexitallic GmbH to bring it into line with the rest of the group across the world. Flexitallic manufactures semi-metallic and metallic gaskets for international industry sectors including the oil & gas, power generation and petrochemical industries. The company’s planned growth is aimed at meeting the demands of a growing market. The work of the expanding team is to increase awareness of Flexitallic’s products and services within the German market. This involves building relationships with end-users and distributors along with supporting the market with the latest developments in static sealing technology. Phil Kelshaw, Flexitallic’s Sales Director - Eastern Hemisphere, said: “The expansion of our German operations is part of our work to increase our position in the market across Europe. In a growing market place, it is important to press forward and consolidate our business, and to enhance our team in a way which drives our products to existing and new customers.” Flexitallic will be exhibiting at Europe’s largest chemical industry exhibition, ACHEMA in Frankfurt between 15 and 19 June.
