Not only is Forbes now the largest manufacturer in the UK of custom designed and built tanks and vessels in plastics materials, the group has also developed a significant expertise in environmental technologies, particularly in the areas of odour control and fume scrubbing. Forbes tanks and fabrications are now used in one form or another in practically every type of industrial application. The head office at Denver continues to handle sales, design and general administration and continuing improvements in communications have helped to facilitate the larger than usual separation between offices and production. The main production facility located in Kelso in the Borders of Scotland has grown to encompass an area in excess of 18500 M2 and is the home to four purpose built factories each dedicated to the manufacture of high quality tanks and fabrications.
