Exciting developments are underway at Gibbons Engineering Group as our new warehouse continues to take shape! One of the latest milestones in the construction process is the installation of solar panels, marking another step in our commitment to a greener future. The skilled team from Chambers Electrical completed the installation last month, and we’re thrilled to be harnessing renewable energy to power our operations.
In addition to the solar panels, we’re in the planning stages for the internal electrics of the warehouse. This process is crucial to ensuring the space is fully optimised for our needs. Alongside this, we are currently deciding on the best racking and storage solutions to make the most of the 600 square meters of storage space the new warehouse will provide.
Sustainability remains a key focus for us. As part of our ongoing efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, we are expanding our electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities. In addition to our existing EV charge point, we will be installing two new chargers in our newly developed parking area. These additions will support our staff and visitors who have made the switch to electric vehicles. With these upgrades, our on-site car park will grow to a total of 19 spaces, including seven new spaces adjacent to the warehouse.
This expansion marks a significant step forward for Gibbons Engineering Group, not only in terms of operational capacity but also in our sustainability journey. We are dedicated to reducing our environmental impact while continuing to provide the highest level of service to our customers.
Stay tuned for further updates as we move closer to completing this exciting new facility!
