GN Systems is proud to sponsor Brooksbottom Cricket Club (Brox) for a fourth consecutive year!

Brox competes in the Greater Manchester Cricket League as a founding member, having previously played in the Ribblesdale League and the Manchester & District Cricket Association.

The club has been based at its Rowlands Road ground in the village of Summerseat since the 1930s. Despite being a small village club, Brox continues to hold its own against some of the largest teams in Greater Manchester—a challenge GN Systems can certainly relate to, operating in such a competitive industry.

Earlier this month, the club shared their appreciation for the continued sponsorship:

Off the field, Brox hosts a number of community events and serves as a central hub for the local community to meet and socialise. Popular events include Bonfire Night and the annual Boxing Day cricket match.

The club’s 1st XI currently competes in Premier Division 2, with additional 2nd XI and 3rd XI teams playing throughout the season from April to September. Brox also has a thriving junior section, with many senior players having progressed through the club’s youth system. Junior training sessions take place every Friday night, led by a team of qualified coaches."*
