Established in 1994 by the current Managing Director, Ian Griffin, Griffin Elevators has evolved to become a prominent player in the field, offering specialised technical assistance to established lift companies and designing custom electronics for lifts.

Driven by a commitment to quality service and a growing reputation in the market, Griffin Elevators transitioned to a limited company in February 1999, marking a significant milestone in its journey. Despite its expansion and achievements, the company has retained its status as a family-owned independent business.

Accredited to BS EN ISO 9002 in June 2000, Griffin Elevators continued to demonstrate its commitment to quality management by achieving an upgrade to ISO accreditation BS EN ISO 9001-2000 in June 2002. The company has since experienced continuous growth, taking on major works for local authorities, mainstream building contractors, independent lift consultants, as well as catering to individual contracts for the public, clubs, associations, and other businesses.

An additional point of pride for Griffin Elevators is the recertification of BS EN ISO 9001-2015 and BS ISO 45001:2018 in July 2023, underscoring its dedication to maintaining high standards in quality management and occupational health and safety.
