Kwik-Step Ltd market an innovative modular stairway system. The preformed step sections are manufactured in either galvanised steel durbar or aluminium 5 bar tread plate. The modules are pinned onto the slope, minimising groundwork and avoiding the need for foundations. It achieves radical savings in time and cost compared with conventional methods of construction. The Kwik-Step product quickly gained a stronghold in the rail sector and as they began to break into highways they found that their existing subcontract supplier was not able to keep up with either the volume requirements or maintain their high quality standards. In the spring of 2004 Kwik-Step embarked on a nationwide search for a new supplier. HH Products with their manufacturing team are now the sole supplier for the Kwik-Step stair sections. Durbar is notoriously difficult to bend accurately and with a four tread section having 12 bends there is plenty of opportunity for error. HH developed a method of manufacture that ensures the Kwik-Step product always achieves its high standards. Our team pay close attention to accuracy, presentation and finish. It's important to us that the Kwik-Step clients are not only impressed with the innovative design but also with the way it is executed.
