RIVERSIDE INVEST IN THREE PARTS HANDLER SYSTEMS

Riverside have added not one but two Disc Parts Handlers to their machine shop with another Belt model on order due for delivery next month! The company approached J&S Engineering looking for component handling solutions to use with two of their Citizen Miyano fixed head lathes. The precision turned parts manufacturer produce delicate brass parts, meaning their surface finish cannot be damaged. The design of the disc parts handler model incorporates a conveyor which the parts roll onto from the machine, taking them down to the rotating disc collection table. In addition to these two disc models, Riverside are waiting for a belt component collector which will be installed for their Citizen sliding head lathe, where there is less available shop floor space. The component handlers all allow overnight running on the lathes, another requirement that Riverside were looking to achieve.
