Cyclone Magnetic Stirrer Drive

The CYCLONE series is a hermetically sealed shaft sealing with integral motor – Buchi magnetic couplings are fitted to all our stirred pressure systems and are also available separately. The advantage of this type of coupling is the vessel contents do not have any route to the non-process side and the extremely strong external magnets drive the internal magnets which are separated by a steel closing cap. The CYCLONE series incorporate an electric motor together with this magnetic coupling within the same housing and the speed is regulated by its own controller unit.
