Inert Magnetic Stirrer Drives

Hermetically sealed shaft sealing with integral motor – INERT VERSION, the Buchi magnetic couplings are fitted to all our stirred pressure systems and are also available separately. The advantage of this type of coupling is that the vessel contents do not have any route to the non-process side. The extremely strong external magnets drive the internal magnets which are separated by a closing cap. The INERT series incorporate an electric motor within the one housing and the speed is regulated by its own controller unit as per the Cyclone series but in addition all product-wetted parts are manufactured from non-metallic materials such as ceramic and PEEK.
