Low Level Skip\nLow Level Skip can be easily positioned at the end of a conveyor, dross shoot or manufacturing line to collect biproducts that are below waist level.\nThe skip is supplied as manual operation as standard, but automatic tipping at high level can be achieved by ordering the conversion kit allowing the forklift / tele handler driver to empty the skip without leaving the safety of his seat.\nLow Level Skip Standard Features:\n\nLow loading height\nReinforced leading edge and body sides\n4-way fork pocket entry\nSecondary Locking Mechanism to prevent accidental discharge\nFully seam welded for retention of fluids\nManual handle override\nMaximum fork section 150 x 60 mm at 683 mm centres\nZinc plated twist screws for safe attachment to truck\nPainted bright orange for safety\n\nOptional Features:\n\nConversion kit for automatic operation\n125mm diameter nylon castors\nColour finish for waste separation or department\n\nLow Level Skip Sizes:\n\n\n\nModel\nCapacity\nWeight\nC of G\nLength\nWidth\nHeight\nLLC\nNominal Capacity\n\n\nILUS-1\n300kg\n215kg\n630mm\n1380mm\n910mm\n540mm (o/a - 700mm)\nFork Length 530mm\n0.7 m3\n\n\nILUS-2\n600kg\n245kg\n650mm\n1380mm\n1300mm\n540mm (o/a - 700mm)\nFork Length 530mm\n1.0 m3\n\n\n\nOperation:\n\nTO OPERATE VIA RELEASE HANDLE: Position the forks the correct distance apart to locate into fork pockets.\nRemove fork pocket heel pins from skip.\nDrive forks into the fork pockets.\nInsert fork pocket heel pins directly behind the heel of the fork and attach safety lynch pin into the hole provided.\nTake the forklift skip to the intended area to be tipped and release the secondary lock mechanism on the rear.\nTo release the skip and empty the contents pull the release handle.\nOnce emptying is complete pull the skip back so as to re-latch on to the hook\nReplace the safety lock mechanism.\nThe skip is now ready for use again.\nTO OPERATE VIA AUTO-RELEASE: Follow steps 1-4 above and then: Take the forklift skip to the large yard skip and release the secondary lock mechanism on the rear of the skip.\nPosition the forklift skip at the correct height with the actuator plate positioned over the yard skip side (the actuator plate is located between the two side entry fork pockets).\nLower the forklift skip on to the side of the yard skip until the hook release mechanism is disengaged.\nRaise the forklift to clear the side of the yard skip, pull away and lower safely to the ground. Once emptying is complete pull the skip back so as to re-latch on to the hook.\nReplace the safety lock mechanism.\nThe skip is now ready for use again.\n\nLead Time: 1 week.
