This recent project was to provide an incline belt conveyor designed for transporting scrap metal up an incline.
The conveyor system consists of a sturdy steel frame fitted with an Infeed Hopper for efficiently moving the scrap metal.
The belt used in this conveyor system is a grip-top belt, which features a textured surface that provides extra grip to prevent the scrap from slipping or sliding during transportation. This is particularly important when moving heavy or bulky items like scrap metal.
At the lower end of the conveyor, there is an attached infeed hopper where scrap metal is loaded onto the conveyor.
Along the sides of the conveyor, there are guards to help keep the scrap metal contained and prevent it from spilling over the edges during transport. These guards also help to maintain the alignment of the material on the grip-top belt.
The conveyor is equipped with a reliable motor that powers the movement of the grip-top belt and ensures a smooth and consistent operation.
