OKW has expanded its range of MEDITEC electronic enclosures, designed for desktop, portable, and wall-mount electronics, now offering two versions and four different plan sizes. These enclosures can also be ordered as separate components, providing versatility for individual configurations.
MEDITEC enclosures are crafted with a primary focus on high-quality healthcare and laboratory electronics, catering to various applications such as feedback control, test and measurement, communications, network technology, data collection, control peripherals, modems, and interfaces.
These enclosures are characterised by their stylish design, versatility, and ease of assembly. Customers can choose to have the enclosures with or without a tilt swivel carry handle (an accessory) that can also function as a desk stand. This handle is adjustable in 30° increments, offering flexibility in usage.
The top and base of the enclosure feature strengthening ribs to enhance robustness, and clip-in side trims with or without ventilation are available to conceal the fixing screws. Inside the enclosure, you'll find screw pillars for easy installation of PCBs and components. The inclusion of four screw-on non-slip feet ensures stability for desktop use.
MEDITEC enclosures are constructed from ABS material (UL 94 HB) and come in a standard off-white colour (RAL 9002) with optional side trims in lagoon green or case-coloured. Custom colours can be provided upon request.
These enclosures are available in four plan sizes, ranging from 160 x 200 mm to 290 x 260 mm, designed to accommodate double and extended Eurocard-sized PCBs. Two standard heights are offered, 74 mm and 124 mm, with an additional 50 mm provided by optional side panels.
Accessories are available, including a sloping control panel that creates a 30° desktop reading angle or a 60° wall reading angle. An infill panel (accessory) is required for 124 mm high cases with a sloping panel, allowing for the mounting of connectors for probes and data cables. Additional accessories include wall mounting brackets, side panel connectors, stacking elements for securing multiple devices, and PCB mounting screws.
