Full Turnkey Installation of Critical Cooling.

The Brief: ​Recently Refcool was tasked with the full electrical and mechanical installation of a central cooling facility for a medical scanner storage, service and repair facility. Such was the critical nature of the cooling to the equipment that 2 packaged chillers were installed in parallel serving a fully insulated stainless steel pipework distribution system. In order to maintain a stable system water pressure Refcool designed, built and installed a motorized pressure relief bypass at the end of the distribution pipework. Refcool supplied, delivered and installed all the equipment and commissioned the system within an agreed tight timeframe Refcool completed all electrical installation works for the facility including power supplies to equipment in storage. On completion of the electrical works all new circuits were inspected and tested in compliance with BS7671:2008 and NICEIC certification issued.
