Below are three key ways we proudly fulfil our commitment to social responsibility.
1. Partnering with Dreams Come True to Support Underprivileged Areas
We’re proud to announce our growing partnership with Dreams Come True, a UK charity dedicated to fulfilling dreams for children with serious or life-limiting conditions.
Through this collaboration, we’ve delivered projects that bring valuable sensory experiences to children who need them most. One such initiative was the creation of a sensory room in Liverpool for Runcorn Children’s Centre, carefully designed to accommodate children with a wide range of sensory needs.
We’ve also worked closely with families on an individual basis. For instance, one family supported by Dreams Come True needed a mobile sensory panel instead of a fixed one. Although this was beyond our standard offerings, our team went the extra mile to develop a bespoke solution. Not only did this tailored product meet the child's specific requirements, but it also provided significant cost savings for the charity, enabling them to support even more children.

2. Supporting Local Community Initiatives in Hockley
Closer to home, we’re passionate about giving back to our local community in Hockley. We actively support Roots Hawkwell CIC, a small yet impactful community interest company (CIC) that focuses on wellbeing, education, and community support.
As a business, we have not only donated resources but also volunteered our time to assist with their initiatives. We firmly believe that strong local communities create a stronger society overall, and we’re proud to help them achieve their goals.
Louise from Roots Hawkwell CIC shared her thoughts on our support:
"My name’s Louise, and I run a small community-based not-for-profit in Essex called Roots Hawkwell CIC. We have recently undertaken the task of renovating an old scout hall and community garden. I am really grateful to Sense Sensory for their support with this project, both through a monetary donation and by physically coming to help with the unenviable task of clearing brambles! We are so grateful for their support!"
3. Becoming a Disability Confident Employer
We’re thrilled to announce that Sense Sensory has been officially recognised as a Disability Confident Committed employer. This accreditation reflects our ongoing efforts to ensure inclusivity in our workplace and break down barriers for individuals with disabilities by actively promoting accessibility and equality.
