Sales Engineer

Location – Newent, Gloucestershire Due to expansion and very high enquiry rates we seek a proven Sales Engineer to promote our range of Steel Building Products and Services. The suitable individual will have demonstrable knowledge and success selling within the construction sector and ideally, but not necessarily, will have steel building knowledge. Work will include negotiation, pricing and the preparation of quotations and will involve some national travel. In addition the individual should ideally possess, some, or all, of the following attributes: - A proven commercial ability with a strong, team orientated, work ethic. Order closing capability in a Customer supportive and caring manner. Good IT knowledge and ability in the use of Word, Excel and a CRM system (ideally ACT) Good communication, and Customer facing, skills A full car driving license as visits to site, including overnight, will be required. High levels of initiative and common sense Strong written and numeracy skills As an ISO9001:2008 accredited company we require individuals with a strong commitment to quality throughout all processes and knowledge of working within such an environment would be advantageous..
