OKW’s durable DATEC-POCKET-BOX now supports N, AA, AAA, and 9V cells, catering to a wide range of handheld electronics.
These compact plastic enclosures are perfect for applications in measurement and control, remote controls, pulse generation for ultrasound and infrared, sensors, optoelectronics, mobile data recording, and wireless communications.
Ergonomic Design for Comfort and Functionality
The ergonomic DATEC-POCKET-BOX features a slim profile for comfortable handling, with flat surfaces that are easily machinable for adding interfaces. The operating area is recessed to safeguard a membrane keypad or product label. The front face is clear polished (in sizes M and L) for optimal infrared signal efficiency. Inside, there are fastening pillars designed for PCBs.
Material and Protection Options
The DATEC-POCKET-BOX is available in ABS or infrared-permeable PMMA (both UL 94 HB), with the option for IP 54 ingress protection as standard. It comes in three sizes:
- S (85 x 46 x 16 mm)
- M (105 x 58 x 18.5 mm)
- L (120 x 65 x 22 mm)
Standard colours include off-white (RAL 9002) and black (RAL 9005).
