The Quadram Institute is a research center that focuses on food and health. It brings together several organizations including the Quadram Institute Bioscience (previously known as the Institute of Food Research), the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals’ endoscopy center, and parts of the University of East Anglia’s Norwich Medical School and the Faculty of Science. The institute is located on the outskirts of Norwich in the United Kingdom and is a member of the Norwich Research Park.
The institute is located in the Norwich Research Park and was purpose-built, opening in 2018. It was founded by Quadram Institute Bioscience, the University of East Anglia, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council. The institute combines research teams from its partners with a regional gastrointestinal endoscopy unit and a clinical trials facility. In December 2018, the endoscopy unit treated its first patients.
PBSC provided cleanroom solutions that contributed to Quadram’s ongoing research program.

The world is facing significant challenges, such as food scarcity, an aging population, and climate change. Norwich Research Park is playing a vital role in discovering solutions to these challenges.
