PBSC provided an air shower to reduce the amount of particles from the operator upon entry and/or exit from areas to reduce the risk of contamination.

The shower uses high-velocity jets of air to remove any possible contamination on the operator.

PBSC’s air shower for this project, features a powder-coated steel construction, interlocked float, and toughened glass personnel doors.

The shower’s final assembly required no on-site cranes or special access.

Each side wall features 9 adjustable stainless-steel nozzles, making a total of 18 nozzles within the shower.

As the worker steps into the shower, the PLC automatically activates the high-performance LED light, providing excellent visibility for the operative to initiate the shower cycle. The shower controls provide an automated cycle, during which it locks the doors during the air shower cycle.
