Introduction

Removing an older or less secure cylinder lock an replacing it with a new one, is a simple task. The only tools you will need for this installation is a phillips screwdriver and a ruler.

Choosing the Correct Euro Lock

The main element of choosing the right euro cylinder lock for your door is the distance between the screw center and the edge of the lock itself.

Removing Old Euro Lock

Firstly, using your phillips screwdriver, unscrew the center screw. then by pushing the existing lock out with your thumb you will be able to measure your euro lock and order the correct one for your door. 

Installing Euro Cylinder Lock

With your new lock, carefully insert it into either side of your door. Then align this with the doors center screw hole, this should be done by getting both sides of the lock even with the door itself. Then attach with a phillips screwdriver.
