Who is Suffolk Pocket Doors?

Suffolk Pocket Doors follows our same ethos of quality craftsmanship at sensible prices with a primary focus on interior pocket doors. 

We realised that people love the look and feel of pocket doors, but the process of choosing and fitting them can be a difficult experience. We want to change that!

As part of a sister brand, we have created an in depth series of how to guides and useful information to help you make an informed decision on purchasing and building your pocket doors.

What Pocket Door Systems are available?

We sell two different types of pocket door systems; both provide premium materials and outstanding build quality. The difference with our two system is a self assembly kit or a pre-assembled system. 

Pre-made cassette

For convenience and quality, the Scrigno pre-made cassette is pre-assembled in Scrigno state of the art factory and supplied direct to the customer ready for installation.  The Scrigno pre-made cassette really is the pinnacle of quality when it comes to pocket door cassette systems and to back this up the anodised aluminium track carries a 20 year guarantee against defects as does the hanger assembly. Installation of a Scrigno pre-made cassette system is very fast and can be achieved in just minutes. In a busy renovation or build site, this space saving, time saving pre-assembled unit is recommended as the best option for your new pocket door.

Self-assembly

The self-assemble kit is supplied in component form and includes all necessary fixings and detailed installation instructions. There are seven main components to the kit, consisting of the track, bottom frame section, four uprights and a wooden ‘stay’ (which is disposed of once the frame is built). A degree of technical or construction knowledge is required (together with enough clear space to layout and prepare the components) to ensure the system is correctly assembled and fitted. The kit will need to be cut down to suit the size of the opening and accommodate your chosen door size. Clear instructions are provided and common sizes are marked on the wooden stay to assist with cutting and adjustment.

Pocket Door Accessories

Once you have chosen what door system you would like, the next topic is pocket door accessories. From door jambs (in either white or natural wood) to hide the internals of the pocket door system. To slow dampers, auto closers and Simultaneous door openers.
