Established in 1955, Weirbags (formerly Weir & Carmichael) began by selling hessian sacks to local businesses in Liverpool. Since then, the company has rapidly expanded to include a wide range of packaging sacks and bags for various manufacturing sectors across the UK.
In recent years, Weirbags has also ventured into the recycling sector, leveraging over 10 years of experience to supply local authorities and the privatized waste sector with a comprehensive range of recycling containers and bags.
Currently, Weirbags operates nationwide, serving a customer base of over 1,000, including numerous local authorities. The company has built a long-standing reputation for quality and customer care. In 2010, Weirbags moved to larger premises, now boasting over 40,000 square feet of storage space at their head office in Bootle.
